Joanna Jaskowska

Johanna Jaskowska, also known as Johwska, is a digital artist and creative technologist of French-Polish heritage, raised in France and currently based between Madrid and Paris. Her work explores the relationship between identity, beauty and technology, and the ways the digital environment is reshaping how we see ourselves.

She gained international recognition in 2019 with Beauty3000 – an AR Instagram filter used by more than 500 million people worldwide, which became a turning point in the development of digital aesthetics and established a new visual language for beauty online.

Her practice sits at the intersection of art, technology, fashion and visual culture. Through augmented reality, artificial intelligence and speculative design, she creates images that blur the boundaries between the real and the virtual, raising questions about identity, the human body and the future of beauty.

askowska has worked with artists and brands including Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, J Balvin, Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Givenchy Beauty, Valentino Beauty, Armani and Farfetch. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Dazed and Forbes, and in recent years she has established herself as one of the leading figures in digital art and emerging visual technologies.

Johanna is also co-founder of PATIO Studio – an image-making studio exploring the intersection of fashion and technology. At the heart of her practice is an interest in images that feel entirely possible, even though they belong to a world that does not yet exist.
