Studio Najbrt is one of the best known and most successful Czech graphic design studios founded in 1994 by Aleš Najbrt and Pavel Lev in Prague. Since then Studio Najbrt creates identities, publications, posters, books, exhibitions or websites and apps for domestic as well as international clients. Over the last almost thirty years the studio has developed a distinctive style that has won prizes in the Czech Republic and other countries.

The exhibition Just Once: Selected Works of Studio Najbrt traces their early work from the 90s and explores the changes and diversity we can see in the studio’s projects during the years. It recapitulates some of their key works and visual principles, looking at their inspiration from art, the typefaces they have designed and their collaborations with photographers like Josef Koudelka. The exhibition also looks at the quantity, persistence and widespread impact of Studio Najbrt’s lively, bright and colorful work and pulls together a wide range of posters, book designs, logos and exhibition projects.
