L44, the emblematic space on Sofia’s creative scene, joins the festival with two events – the Fight For Kindness exhibition, known from Melba 2023, and the Drink&Draw format.

Fight For Kindness is an international initiative by the Italian type foundry Zetafonts (speakers at Melba Symposium 2023), dedicated to World Kindness Day (13 November). The 2025 open call gathered over 760 posters by 600 designers, typographers, and illustrators from 75 countries, united by positive messages expressed through 34 writing systems. The Bulgarian edition is organized by Nako Baev with the support of L44 Space.

The following day, L44 invites all art lovers to Drink&Draw - an informal evening of drawing, sharing, and inspiration in the cozy setting of L44 Café. Bring your favorite materials (pencils, markers, paints, or pastels) and enjoy a creative night together.

Design Initiatives in the City in November is funded under the project "Capital of Culture – The Pulse of Sofia", financed by the European Union through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, procedure BG-RRP-11.021 Grant Scheme “New Generation of Local Cultural Policies for Large Municipalities.”
