The exhibition, organized by the magazine for design, interior, and architecture MD, presents the winners of the "Bulgarian Furniture of the Year" competition from the period 2011 - 2023, organized by Bismar Publishing House.
As part of the special opening of the exhibition, a discussion on the topic "Bulgarian Furniture and the Path to Global Markets" will be held. Expect designers and business representatives as participants in this discussion, where they will talk about creative and innovative approaches in designing contemporary furniture, mass production, and the prospects for the national furniture industry in the context of global markets.
The exhibition showcases a variety of furniture, some of which are included in the first book on contemporary Bulgarian product design in the 21st century by Bismar Publishing House, which was released in June 2023. A total of 50 Bulgarian designers and studios, with over 350 developed products (vehicles, consumer design, electronics, and furniture), are featured in this valuable bilingual edition, prepared by a team of established professionals. Visitors to the exhibition can purchase the book "Bulgarian Product Design 2000/2022" on-site with a 20 percent discount.
