The Unbearable Lightness of the Chushkopek
Mila Mineva is a cultural studies scholar and sociologist, lecturer at the Department of Sociology at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, and expert at the Center for Liberal Strategies. Her research interests include the sociology of media, popular culture, and historical sociology. The chushkopek theme attracts her both through personal associations of childhood, home, and comfort, and through her professional curiosity about the social biography of objects and how it can be traced.
